The first article in the Garden Design Sector sharing my and my fellow designers, Mark Rendell’s, research into what makes gardens in care settings more active is published in the Garden Design Journal. This ‘Talking point’ piece flags the role the humble dandelion had in helping us realise how active gardens are all down to the people and the relationships that take place in their creation, use and enjoyment. This raises questions for designers serving care clients and we make our first mention of a new way for delivering designs we call ‘Relationship-centred design’.
